“Who would believe such pleasure from a wee ball o’ fur?”
— Irish Proverb
Pocket pets are animals that are small enough to, well, fit in your pocket. It’s an arbitrary designation. Some people consider guinea pigs pocket pets, but we consider them small mammals. And we have included hedgehogs here, but don’t recommend carrying one around in your pocket. Ouch!
All of the pocket pets offered by The Animal Store are captive bred, which means they are not caught in the wild. These animals come with a 7-day health guarantee. Our staff and Jr. Critter Crew handle our animals regularly to provide the socialization they need to become great pets.
Stop by to play with and learn more about our pets. We look forward to seeing you.
