Golden Conures (Guaruba guarouba) are also known as Golden Parakeets and Queen of Bavaria Conures. These stunningly beautiful parrots sport bright yellow feathers accented in deep green on the outer wings. Their bodies range from 10-14 inches long, making them significantly larger than Sun and Green Cheek conures. A well-cared-for pet Golden will typically live between 20 and 30 years.

These medium-sized parrots are social and benefit from lots of interaction with their humans. You’ll also want to provide plenty of enrichment, trading out toys and chews frequently. They especially love to climb and enjoy ladders, ropes, and swings. We have never had a Golden in store before and expect it to fly out quickly to its forever home, so stop in soon to reserve and visit with all our baby birds.
