We love the Crimson Bellied Conure. The bright red belly of this colorful beauty distinguishes it from its more common cousins. It is sometimes confused with the Pearly Conure, which is very similar. The one we have in store now is a Crimson Bellied White Ear. Stop by and visit this little beauty.

Black Capped Conure

Black Capped Conure (aka Rock Conure) — both the males and females of this striking little parrot have black foreheads, with scalloped black and white neck and breast feathers, and green bodies. They also have a bare eye, or whiteish ring around their eyes. Juveniles are slightly duller in color.

Black Caps are fun and friendly little birds with highly entertaining personalities. They are among the smallest of the conures, growing to about 10 inches from beak to tail. They can live to be about 30 years old.

Blue-crowned Conure

The blue-crowned is one of the most beautiful of the conure family. They are very intelligent and can learn a large vocabulary, although they can be a little difficult to understand. Highly social, this conure needs lots of human interaction or the company of another bird. The Animal Store carries a huge supply of interesting toys and chews to enrich your conure’s habitat. Blue-crowned conures have an emerald green body topped by a stunning, iridescent turquoise blue face and crown. The bright white-banded eyes stand out from the surrounding blue feathers.
